Alice Rattled by Rats is a 1925 animated short film from the Alice Comedies series. It’s a solid short.

Alice and her cat must fight the rats in their house. This is yet another one of these rat infestation cartoons that the animation was obsessed with back in this day and age for some reason. Obviously, it was familiar in its plot and action, but at least a couple of gags were pretty good.

I also found the movie very well animated and the sound that was added a couple of decades later was quite good. Alice was present here, which was great, though she still needs to have more of a starring role as she had had before. But her cat was a lot of fun and the mice were reliably pesky.

Alice Rattled by Rats is a fun cartoon that is familiar in its premise, but overall solidly executed.
