No Parking Hare is a 1954 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a very disappointing short.
It follows the confrontation between Bugs Bunny and a construction worker. Ultimately, Bugs wins out and they actually acknowledge him and his burrow. I loved that ending with that final line being perfect and so funny. The animation is good and Bugs is pretty cool throughout.
No Parking Hare is still not great mostly because of the weakness of the construction worker as a character. I find adding all these new one-off characters problematic as he is much better off against Elmer Fudd or Porky Pig, and I want those two to come back sooner rather than later. The action also could have been better here.
No Parking Hare has its strong moments and Bugs is cool, but the other character is forgettable and the movie overall is just solid.
