Soup or Sonic is a 1980 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series.
The coyote chases the road runner, but in this one he actually succeeds, to his bemusement. This was the rare Road Runner short where the coyote actually managed to catch the bird. That ending was, thus, quite iconic in its own right and very funny with the cards that he used. Him being so surprised by that catch due to his numerous failed attempts was hilarious to witness.
But other than that great ending, Soup or Sonic is pretty forgettable. There are gags that worked, but the vast majority were forgettable and uninspired. The animation is only serviceable and the score is not memorable at all. The movie is also overlong at nine minutes with only the second half being entertaining.
