Napoleon Bunny-Part Review

Napoleon Bunny-Part Review

Napoleon Bunny-Part is a 1956 animated short film from the Merry Melodies series. It is such an amusing short.

Bugs Bunny ends up in Napoleon Bonaparte’s headquarters where he continues to anger him and then escape his persecutors. The action here was surprisingly strong. I liked that buffoon of a henchman, he was great. The butt gag with him and Napoleon was very entertaining.

As for the little guy, he is exceedingly hilarious and his appearance as well as his erratic behavior provided a lot of solid humor. Bugs got some killer lines here. I did not like the ending at all as it was rather obvious and clichéd, but the scenes with the board tactics were hilarious and the best of the bunch for sure.

Napoleon Bunny-Part is at its best in the quieter scenes, but even the action is very well executed and the characters are so much fun.

My Rating – 4
