Bunny and Claude (We Rob Carrot Patches) Review

Bunny and Claude (We Rob Carrot Patches) is a 1968 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is an okay cartoon.

Bunny outlaws Bunny and Claude are chased by the Sheriff as he attempts to disguise himself as a big carrot to catch the duo. This movie was an obvious parody of ‘Bonnie and Clyde’, and overall it was okay, especially fine for this era of mediocrity for the studio. The plot is as expected tiresome and the gags are mostly uninspired, but the final gag was pretty good.

These bunnies are also fun characters and they were well designed and acted too. The sheriff was also solid. The score was lively and energetic and fittingly country for the setting. The animation is weak, but the score is so fun that it elevated the visuals and the plot.

Bunny and Claude is a solid cartoon that is weakly plotted and animated, but fun characters and energetic score made it worthwhile.

My Rating – 3.9
