Thumb Fun is a 1952 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a very fun movie.

Daffy again wants to go south for some reason so he manages to depart with Porky in his car. He then proceeds to create horrible situations for Porky until the poor pig ends up in prison. The only flaw in this film is the trunk stuffed with an impossible amount of luggage routine. That gag was repeated way too often, and it was never all that funny to begin with.

But otherwise, the flick is a whole lot of fun. I absolutely loved Daffy here, and he is very clever and manipulative, especially when it comes to him evading the law. Porky is so endearing here, and the fact that he ultimately won was a fine change of pace. The animation is lovely, and the entire short is brisk and hugely entertaining.

Thumb Fun is repetitive in humor, but so well-crafted in terms of storytelling and the usage of its two classic characters.
