14 Carrot Rabbit Review

14 Carrot Rabbit is a 1952 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a disappointing movie.

How can a Bugs/Sam movie set in the Gold Rush era be so disappointing? Well, for one thing, the jokes come few and far in-between. The short doesn’t utilize on its setting all that well, and rarely is it truly hilarious or memorable in any shape or form. It needed better action.

I did like the cliff scene, though. That train finale is also very funny and definitely the highlight of the movie. The animation is also excellent. I liked Sam here, but Bugs is very entertaining himself. Both share a great dynamic, but they needed and they deserved a much better movie than what they got here.

14 Carrot Rabbit has some stellar scenes and it looks great, but overall it needed more of those great moments and better action.
