The Pink Pro Review

The Pink Pro Review

The Pink Pro is a 1976 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.

The Pink Panther teaches a reluctant Little Man various sports, such as archery, skiing, skydiving, water skiing and golf. This short had a lot of promise given that its setup is original and different for this series. It by far presents one of the most extensive roles for The Little Man, which I obviously loved, but the sports premise should have been better realized.

Some sports were memorable, in particular golf. That entire scene was great with the sign being hilarious. Others aren’t as great, though all segments are superbly animated. The short is polished and a lot of fun with both characters having great roles, but the action and humor needed more work.

The Pink Pro is uneven and disappointing, but its animation and characterization are both excellent.

My Rating – 3.7
