The Pink Package Plot ReviewThe Pink Package Plot Review

The Pink Package Plot is a 1968 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.

The Pink Panther is forced by a criminal to deliver a packaged explosive to the Slobvanian Embassy, but must first find a way to get past the guard dog. This is one of the better Pink Panther shorts in recent memory, and that’s mostly because of the very well utilized setting.

It’s different enough that it really worked. And it was hilarious to me, a Slav, how they made up a Slavic country. The name is funny, but the mansion is very cool. I also really liked the action of him trying to get inside this rich place. Most of it was fun, but per usual the execution is sometimes flawed, especially in less interesting second half.

The Pink Package Plot has its flaws, but the different setting and some fun action are its strengths.

My Rating – 3.9
