Postcrossing- Girl with a Guitar

Mrs. Naoko from Taiwan likes postcards with musical instruments. I think she’ll like this girl with a guitar. The postcard was written by a schoolgirl to her sister all the way back in 1921. On the back of the card is a stamp of the country that was then called Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. I tried to find on the internet the history of the firm that printed these postcards and, with the help of a magnifying glass, I found the letters SBM on the logo, beneath which can clearly be seen the number of the postcard and its collection, but I haven’t been able to find anything, except the similar postcards with the same letters on different auction websites where they are exchanged by collectionners.

From the same collection I got the postcard for the Russian Tosja. This time the postcard is written for New Year from the same period, in 1920. It was sent by a boy to his uncle where he wished him a happy New Year.

The third postcard is going to Germany to a lady who likes the motif of regal families. This unwritten postcard has a picture of Queen Elizabeth in an exquisite dress, it was printed in Ireland by a company John Hindle and founded by the eponymous man during the middle of the century and it still exists.

Also, in addition to that, each of these three ladies is going to get another postcard. One is a picture of Titian’s Flora, another is a postcard printed by ILO and the third one is also printed by ILO in West Germany during the middle of the century. The last two are illustrations.
