Pink on the Cob is a 1969 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.
The Pink Panther battles two crows who are trying to steal all the corn from his farm. I really liked this short. It’s the type of Pink Panther plot that I just love, and that includes him dealing with a pest of some kind, in this instance we get those very persistent, highly annoying crows.
That scene where they disguise themselves very unconvincingly was the best in the entire short. It was hilarious and perfectly executed. The crows are terrific throughout the entire cartoon as they are very funny and silly. The first half of the short is excellent, but unfortunately the second half lost some of its steam as it was much less memorable.
Pink on the Cob is a stellar Pink Panther entry that finds him battling with some annoying crows in a very amusing fashion.
