My Generation G-G-Gap Review

My Generation G-G-Gap Review

My Generation G-G-Gap is a 2004 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series.

Porky Pig takes his teenage daughter to a rock concert. When he realizes just how wild the concert is, he will stop at nothing to get inside. This is a very strange cartoon, but one that ultimately worked despite all odds. Whenever they give cartoon characters a child, it’s not a great choice, and sure enough Porky’s daughter here was not developed properly and was quite forgettable.

With that being said, the movie was very funny and it was even hilarious in that ending where Porky’s stuttering is made fun of through his singing. It was a glorious sequence in the form of a commercial was unexpected and very witty. The animation and soundtrack are solid, but it is Porky who was so amusing with his shenanigans here.

My Generation G-G-Gap is a strange, but very funny short that benefits from a great use of Porky and a terrific ending.

My Rating – 3.9
