Little Go Beep Review

Little Go Beep Review

Little Go Beep is a 2000 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series.

Baby Wile E. Coyote is told by his father, Cage E., that he’s not to speak until he catches a road runner. This movie was released in 2000 and it is one of the strangest shorts in this particular series. What you have here are basically baby versions of these classic characters, which was unexpected and odd.

The two looked adorable. There is no question about it, the film gets a lot of mileage out of its cutesy factor. The babies were so much fun and the overall animation was pretty polished. The score and sound were inferior, though, and so was the overall humor. There is not a single set piece here that was memorable in the slightest. Most produce a chuckle or two, but none of them stick in the mind for longer. The personalities of the characters were in line with their adult versions, but Wile’s dad was overly unlikable.

Little Go Beep is a strange beast. This Road Runner cartoon featured baby versions of the two characters to cute, but middling results.

My Rating – 3.4
