Keep Our Forests Pink Review

Keep Our Forests Pink is a 1975 animated short film from the Pink Panther series.

The Pink Panther keeps a forest park clean, despite the constant littering of one camper (the Little Man). This flick did not utilize on its interesting, different premise properly. The role of the animals was odd and more screen time should have been given to Pink and the Little Man themselves. The animation this time around was also not top-notch as it usually is.

Still, the setting is well realized and the Little Man is very funny here. I liked Pink’s role as a cleaner and this dynamic between the two was different and original. The best Pink Panther movies are the ones where the two square off, but we need more different formulas and settings for the two to annoy each other and this was a great choice with the littering being quite an interesting premise, but again it should have been executed better.

Keep Our Forests Pink isn’t perfectly executed, but its great premise remains interesting and the two classic characters are fun here.
