Snow Business ReviewSnow Business Review

Snow Business is a 1953 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a fun flick.

Tweety and Sylvester are trapped in Granny’s mountain cabin with very little food. Well, there are bird seeds in abundance, but Sylvester doesn’t eat that, so he sets out to eat Tweety. All the while, a very hungry mouse tries to eat the cat’s tale. What is interesting here is that the two start off as genuine pals in the beginning, that was different than usual and I really liked it. I found their relationship stupendous in this short.

I also really liked that ending. It was so much fun, and Tweety’s delivery was hilarious. The animation’s good and some of the action is quite strong. However, the mouse, though solid, felt shoehorned into this short in a far from smooth manner, which is evident throughout all of his appearances.

Snow Business is a bit messy, but it’s a lot of fun. It presents a different setting for these two characters and their relationship is also refreshingly changed.
