Mickey's Steam Roller ReviewMickey’s Steam Roller Review

Mickey’s Steam Roller is a 1934 Mickey Mouse cartoon. It is a weaker entry.

Mickey unfortunately has to deal with his twin nephews in this cartoon who wreak havoc throughout and he only manages to give them a smile afterwards in that ridiculously disappointing finale. I liked the titular steam roller here quite a bit and the film is at times pleasantly old-fashioned and well animated.

However, it remains too inconsequential, too uninteresting and it is just a boring, uneventful cartoon where nothing too interesting, not to mention funny happens as the gags are thoroughly lacking. These types of Mickey Mouse entries with babies are getting tired by now and I do wish for more original stories. That’s why it’s this year’s weakest entry.

Mickey’s Steam Roller is the weakest Mickey entry of this year thanks to an uninspired, tired formula with no gags or memorable plot points.

My Rating – 3.3
