Feedin' the Kiddie ReviewFeedin’ the Kiddie Review

Feedin’ the Kiddie is a 1957 animated short that is the 110th Tom and Jerry cartoon. It is thankfully the last Tom and Jerry remake.

This is a remake of Oscar winner ‘The Little Orphan’ and the only reason why watching this remake was good for me is because it made me somewhat reevaluate the original which I at first didn’t particularly care for, but now I see that it is pretty good. It is racially offensive, but still very funny with Tom being so good here and some action moments are just fantastic. It takes its time to get there, but when it does, it is a whole lot of fun.

But Feedin’ the Kiddie remains just a remake done in CinemaScope. The animation is good, but that’s about it. Everything else is repeated basically for its entirety and that is very lazy. But thankfully this is going to be the last remake in the series.

Feedin’ the Kiddie is a lazy remake of a pretty good film that I now realized is very entertaining.
