Snowtime for Comedy Review

Snowtime for Comedy is a 1941 animated short film from the Merry Melodies series. It is a pretty weak short.

This is another short starring Two Curious Puppies and it’s easily the weakest one so far as there’s nothing particularly good or memorable to be found here. I did admittedly love its animation as the snow is so well animated, the dogs and their movements are polished and the film looks and sounds great.

But other than that, the film is a waste of time as the pacing is typically slow for these two characters and the cartoon is particularly uneventful and lacking in terms of both action and humor. It just gives us the two dogs goofing around on ice and snow and, needless to say, I was bored quite a bit.

Snowtime for Comedy is well animated, but boring in action, lacking in humor and overall pretty weak.
