Ain’t She Tweet ReviewAin’t She Tweet Review

Ain’t She Tweet is a 1952 animated short film from the Looney Tunes series. It is a very funny flick.

This one follows Sylvester’s attempts to get to Tweety, of course all being hugely unsuccessful. First of all, I found its very fragmented editing and pacing uneven and flawed. It led to a very unpolished seeming flick, but at least many of its scenes are so good, and the dogs are so well utilized as a danger to the cat.

I personally found the kind old man scene the most hilarious. The man threw him back to the brutal dogs from good intentions, and it was unexpected and incredibly funny. All of the scenes in the second half are great, but the first half is less interesting. Tweety should have been more present, but Sylvester is terrific from start to finish.

Ain’t She Tweet is uneven and fragmented, but at least it’s very funny, and simply hilarious in a couple of stellar scenes.
