Top Ten NSYNC Songs

Top Ten NSYNC Songs
NSYNC was one of the best and most influential boy bands from the late nineties and early aughts and it remains one of the most popular to this day for a reason. Although they do not have as many hits as The Backstreet Boys, they do have their fair share of classics, in particular their ballads that are absolutely stunning. They also have a couple of instantly memorable bangers. These are the ten best songs from NSYNC.
10. Gone
I am not the biggest fan of the Celebrity album. In fact, I find it to be quite mediocre and a huge tonal departure for the band that never quite worked. With that being said, Gone just barely got on this list due to its very memorable refrain, a great music video and a different, memorable beat that was positively unique for the group.

9. I’ll Be Good for You
Not truly memorable and very much of its time, I’ll Be Good for You is nonetheless a very good number that is particularly effective in its sexy, suave and catchy chorus. It’s an underrated song that deserves more love out there.

8. Thinking of You ( I Drive Myself Crazy)
Thinking of You is clearly one of the most romantic songs that the band has ever produced. Although not their best ballad, it’s one of their better ones. It’s beautifully sung, highly romantic and particularly memorable in its gorgeous back-up vocals.

7. That Girl (Will Never Be Mine)
This NSYNC tune just might be the number that was the most reminiscent of The Backstreet Boys positively speaking. It’s one of those early 2000s songs that are very much of their time, but in a good way for sure. The cool, upbeat refrain was phenomenal here.

6. It’s Gonna Be Me
Similar to the entry above, It’s Gonna Be Me is an infectiously catchy and entertaining number that is so well sung and benefitting from particularly memorable beats used throughout, not just in the chorus. It’s one of the band’s songs that are endlessly replayable.

5. Bye Bye Bye
The song that was additionally popularized in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, Bye Bye Bye is one of those stupidly catchy songs that cannot be resisted. I do not find it to be their best number due to its repetitiveness and slightness, but the power of its main beat is undeniable and it’s by far the most successful and memorable song that NSYNC has ever put out.

4. If I’m Not the One
Now we come to the really great stuff. These four songs are all classics in their own way. If I’m Not the One is just a beautiful ballad that features an irresistible banger of a refrain, beautiful vocals and great instrumentals. It’s by far one of the band’s most underrated and greatest songs.

3. That’s When I’ll Stop Loving You
Another gorgeous ballad of theirs, this one worked best in its sweeping chorus, especially the last one. I personally appreciate more the NSYNC ballads over their more iconic bangers and this is one of their best. It just sounds nice listening to this undeniable charmer.

2. Tearin’ Up My Heart
Tearin’ Up My Heart is easily one of the most memorable and successful numbers from this band and it’s one of their most timeless. It doesn’t suffer from that easily distinguishable early aughts feel that most other of their songs do. Instead, it’s a number for all times, one that is wonderfully sung and featuring strong production values and a memorable music video.

1. This I Promise You
And the number one NSYNC song has to be This I Promise You. How can it be anything else? Most would not rank this one as high for some unbeknownst reason to me, but this is not just their greatest song, but also one of the best ballads of all time. I love the music video, the singing is at their best here across the board and the lyrics are just undeniably moving and romantic. Not just is the refrain absolutely stunning, but so is the rest of this number, especially that instantly memorable and charming opening beat. From the first to the last beat, I love this song to death. It’s a masterpiece of a ballad and one of the most beautiful songs from this decade.
