How to Swim is a 1942 animated short film from the Goofy series. It is a pretty solid short.
Goofy is shown explaining how to swim while the narrator explains the steps that need to be done. This is a perfectly solid Goofy cartoon that is expectedly well animated and it benefits from gorgeous underwater sequences. The movie is charming and of course very well narrated with some amusing moments and a solid use of its setting and premise.
However, the comedic moments were only serviceable. We do not get any truly funny or well executed gags here and that was a big problem for me. This series is at its best when it’s imaginative and unique in its sets and gags, which this one wasn’t for me personally.
