How to Fish is a 1942 animated short film from the Goofy series. It is a pretty solid flick.
After the narrator explains how the instinct to fish is triggered, he uses Goofy as an example of a fisherman to show how to fish. The animation here is superb. The background work was lovely and the underwater scenes were gorgeous. The setting was used well for action and gags.
The movie worked in the visuals, sound and score, but the gags were underwhelming. I liked the ending, but for the most part the movie did not utilize its premise all that well with the exception of a few moments of brilliance. Goofy was endearing as always, but the narration was not as amusing this time around.
