Busman’s Holiday is a 1961 animated short film from the Woody Woodpecker series. It is a pretty forgettable flick.
Woody gets into a lot of shenanigans with a policeman and a baker around a certain ladder. Woody is fun here. I liked him quite a bit and I appreciated that this was his movie throughout even though the other two are utilized quite often.
But the flick did not work for me as the ladder situation was drawn out to a whole short film needlessly so. It was never all that interesting and I failed to find anything funny with it. The situational humor is a good fit for this series, but it should be executed in a much funnier and more memorable way.
